Talking to Inside Northeast about the development, U G Brahma, former Rajya Sabha member from Assam and Founder of the party, says that the winds have started blowing in favour of the BTR agreement, hence the choice of Boro as the President. "I founded the party, and now it is up to the young brigade to take the party forward in the right direction", Brahma told us. Brahma also opined that the adding of the beloved ABSU leader is sure to bolster the UPPL party. “For sure it will impact the election.
