Assam Pride Shivangi Sharma Wins 5th Gold at ‘Khelo India Youth Games’

Guwahati, January 21, 2020:

Shivangi Sharma has set a record after her fifth win at the third edition of Khelo India Youth Games, 2020 in Guwahati.

Sharma, who has made a remarkable win in Freestyle swimming, bagged her fifth Gold medal on Tuesday’s event. It may be mentioned here that the ace swimmer had earlier bagged four Gold medals at the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games 2020.

Shivangi Sharma had won in the Girls’ category under-21 400m freestyle swimming on Saturday.  She has also won two silver medals at the event.

Maharashtra has emerged as the Topper in the overall medals’ tally with a total of 204 medals, including 63 gold and 62 silver medals. Haryana, which earlier was holding the first rank, has won 138 medals with 47 Gold and 41 Silver.
