A mass protest was organized on 25th July in Golaghat by the All Assam students Union(AASU) along with twenty seven different parties in presence of a huge number of people in its demand to dismantle the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016. The People rouse in rage against the chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for his inability to stick to the proclaimed promises. The agitated public clearly expressed that if the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 is not discarded then the protest will take a nasty turn The general secretary of AASU
