ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL CONTINUES

In recent weeks, Assam has seen many protests over the proposed Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016. The Tinsukia District Congress Committe comply a betrayal day today, for the Central government and State government for their misgovernment. The protesters started their march from the city while chanting slogans and holding banners in their hands demanding for the dismal of the bill.

While the same scenerio could be seen in Nalbari where the Nalbari District Congress Commitee registered a protest as betrayal day against the bill.
