ASSAM: PROTEST ERUPT OVER MYSTEROUS DISAPPEARANCE OF REBOTI PHUKAN

Massive protest continued in the Upper Assam's Tinsukia and Dibrugarh districts on Monday over the mysterious disappearance of Rebati Phukan. A 12 hour ‘bandh’ has been  announced by 11 organisations in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh districts in Assam.. The protest occured from morning 5 a.m till evening 5 p.m during which there was no movement of vehicles.

While the protesters blocked roads by burning tyres in the  Hijuguri area adjacent to 37th National Highway. On the other hand All Assam Mottok Students Union also blocked roads in the national highway.
