ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST DEPLETION OF GST

The Assam Chamber of Commerce, Golaghat unit staged two hour protest in front of Deputy Commissioner's office, today. The protesters demanded that the simplification of GST which is levied in India on the supply of goods and services is affecting the lives of common people.

The implementation of GST has brought up the online market such as Flipkart and Walmart in every home for which the common vendors were affected by it and the protesters demanded for termination of deal between Flipkart and Walmart and Abolition of individual income tax in case of businessman and also to imply pension for businessman. After the protest a memorandum is sent through the Deputy Commissioner for the immediate dismal of GST.

The protesters made a clear statement that if the GST is not immediately dismissed than a mass movement will be taken out by them.
