ASSAM: THE RAVAGES OF FLOOD CONTINUES IN THE STATE

The flood situation worsened in Assam in Charaideo District with the number of people affected in nearly seven to eight villages in Assam. Torrential rains on the other hand have triggered off massive landslides in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland causing flood in the villages of Charaideo. According to reports, many government primary school have been damaged. It may also be noted that no government aid was provided till date.
