Renowned Assamese film producer Pranjal Bharali, who had work such as Suren Suror Putek, Junda Eman Gunda, Maa Tumi Ananya, etc. to his credit passed away on Tuesday morning.
The film producer was ailing, following which he was admitted to Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati. He breathed his last around 5:45 AM today.

Managing Director, Nemcare, Dr Hitesh Baruah informed that Bharali was suffering from kidney-related diseases and diabetes. He passed away after his condition deteriorated.
Bharali’s demise is a huge loss to the film fraternity of Assam. “We are saddened at Pranjal Bharali’s demise. He was a well-known name in film fraternity. Bharali produced many films including ‘Maa Tumi Ananya’, ‘Antaheen Jatra’, ‘Suren Choror Putek’ and ‘Jonda Iman Gunda’. Besides that he was a businessman,” Dr. Baruah was quoted saying.
