Stories of reunion which might sometimes seem impossible, is a reality for some. This is well reflected in the story of Joydhar Baruah of Barpeta district of Assam. Baruah reunites with his family after a long period of 50 years. Originally hailing from Cachar district, Baruah  drifted apart from his family to settle in Pathsala of Barpeta district. Some verbal dispute with his family lead to the separation.

But destiny had something else in store. Time played its role to reconcile Baruah with his family when he and his Nephew were summoned in an NRC centre of Barpeta district in connection with the on-going verification process of  NRC.  Baruah got emotional when he saw his family. His happiness  knew no bounds at the reunion.

The story is a perfect instance that time plays its part in moulding our fate.
