Assam: Revenue of Rs 3,67,000 collected for violation of Transport Act

MMARGHERITA: The District Transport Office,Tinsukia Enforcement Inspector Rajiv Pegu, Assistant Enforcement Inspector Debojyoti Das,Biplob Phukan and other staffs on Thursday collected revenue Rs 3,67,000 from Margherita and Digboi Region under Tinsukia District those who have violated Assam Transport Act.

Rajiv Pegu Enforcement Inspector Tinsukia District Transport office informed that on Wednesday and Thursday they detained without Helmet 20 vehicles,without Driving licence 20 vehicles,without HSRP 9 vehicles, Alteration of body 1 vehicle,Over loading of Goods 1 vehicle and while 4 vehicles has been seized.

The seized items are at Margherita Police station for realisation of road Tax, fitness,permit,Driving license,pollution and insurance.
