ASSAM: RUMOUR MONGERS HELD IN SIPAJHAR DISTRICT

Subrajhit Sarmah S/O Khiteswar Sarah of Kanduguri under Sipajhar Police Station of Darrang District posted and shared some fake news on facebook page regarding prevailing child lifters in the state in 8th June. He also posted abusive and violent content on 10th June. The accused has been arrested and a case no 409/18 U/D 153/294,/295(A)/298 IPC R/W Dec 67 of IT Act has been registered in Golaghat Police Station.
