Assam: Sadbhavana Divas observed at Janata Bhawan

Along with the rest of the nation, Sadbhavana Divas was observed today at the Janata Bhawan premises. Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam Paban Kumar Barthakur, in the presence of Dr. M. Angamuthu, Commissioner & Secretary, General Administration etc. departments, administered the oath of Sadbhavana Divas among the officers and staff of Janata Bhawan. They pledged to work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, religion or language. They also took oath to resolve all differences among people through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence.

Secretary of General Administration Department Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury and Secretary of Secretariat Administration Department Maznur Hussain were also present on the occasion among other senior officials.
