Assam school closes for 7 days after detection of COVID cases in premises

DIBRUGARH: The Assam Government issued an order to shut down Shiksha Valley School in Dibrugarh immediately for a period of 7 days after multiple COVID-19 positive cases are detected in the school premises.

Subsequently after the closure of the school, the Principal of the school will ensure that the school building including the entire premises desk and benches, toilet stations/drinking water station etc is thoroughly sanitized.

The school will re-open after 7 (seven) days with due permission from the Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh
