ASSAM: SECTION 144 CRPC CLAMPED NEAR FIRING RANGE IN HAILAKANDI

The Hailakandi district administration has clamped Section 144 CrPC with immediate effect apprehending breach of peace and tranquillity. While it has been clamped with a radius of within 500 meters of District Firing range located at Serispora Tea Estate in Hailakandi District.

According to reports the following order was issued by District Magistrate, Adil Khan on Monday. While the following prohibitory order will remain in force from May 22 to 25 between 6 am to 4 pm. It may be noted that the firing range was in view of the annual range classification firing training of A-Coy, 147 Battalion.

According to the orders of the District Magistrate, no person or animals were allowed to enter within the firing range of 500 meters.
