Assam: Senior Journalist Khagen Kalita joins Congress

Senior Journalist Khagen Kalita joined Congress on Monday at Rajiv Bhawan in presence of the senior party leaders Pradyut Bordoloi and Ripun Bora.

Other than Kalita, around 600 BJP workers also joined the Congress today.

The Vice-President of All Assam Anusuchit Jati Unnayan Parishad, and a BJP worker of Jagiroad constituency, Swapan Mandal joined Congress along with other members.

With elections coming up next year, this will act as a huge blow to the BJP.
