GUWAHATI: Following the instructions of the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Social Welfare Minister Ajanta Neog took stock of the situation at Mothers Old Age Home to resolve the ongoing dispute between two co-owners.
The Minister interacted with both the owners Utpal Harshvardhan and Monica Sharma and advised them to patch things up and focus on taking care of the elderly residents of the Old age home located in Hatigaon area of Guwahati.

"As directed by HCM ">@himantabiswa,I visited the"Mother Old age Home"at Hatigaon and discussed about the recent management issue with the incharge Utpal & Monika. Directed them to settle the situation and work together. Further state govt. also ensured to support them", tweeted the Minister.
The duo has ensured the Minister that would work together in future to take care and cater to the the needs of the residents.
The Minister further informed that the state government will also provide essential aid for smooth running of the old age home.
