One was killed on the spot after an overspeeding car rammed into two bicycles in Guwahati on Saturday morning.
The car is said to have rammed into two bicycles, injuring one of the cyclists and killing the other in front of Janata Bhawan in Guwahati.

The accident happened at around 9:25 am on Saturday when the two cyclists were on their way to Khanapara area.
A local said, “The two were daily wage labourers. They had tiffin with them, so certainly they were on their way to work. One died right here on the spot and the other one has been taken to Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH).”

The car, bearing registration no. AS 01 BU 1161, had hit the two from the rear, according to sources.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be revealed. Further investigation is on.
