Assam: Speeding vehicle causes accident in Tinsukia; Illegal items recovered

TINSUKIA: An unprecedented incident occurred on Monday morning at NH 315 road Margherita Region under Tinsukia District when a speedy Bolero Pick up vehicle carrying green leaves struck to other vehicle.

The Margherita Police after searching found Hand Swing Plank illegally inside the vehicle.

The Bolero pick up Vehicle Bearing Registration Number AS 23 AC 1937 was going to Duliajan from Margherita.

When the Driver of Bolero Pick up Vehicle was questioned about the whereabouts of illegally Hand Swing Plank than the Driver told the plank belongs to Rupam which it was supplied to Duliajan.

There are total 75 CFT illegally Hand Swing Plank at the Bolero Pick up Vehicle, said the Driver.

Margherita Police have taken both the Vehicle and Driver to Margherita Police station.

Further investigation is currently underway.
