Assam sprinter Hima Das featured in ‘Femina’ cover

Assam heart-throb Hima Das has been featured on the cover of Femina India magazine. The cover features female athletes who bagged gold for India at the Asian Games and also features shooter Rahi Sarnobat, wrestler Vinesh Phogat and heptathlete Swapna Barman.

It may also be mentioned that the ‘Dhing Express’ has also been appointed India’s Youth Ambassador by the UNICEF. Apart from winning the gold medal at the IAAF World U20 meet, Hima had bagged gold at the 4x400m relay at the Asian Games in Jakarta earlier this year.
