ASSAM: SSB 31 BN HELDS FOREST MAFIA

The SSB 31 BN helds forest mafia in India-Bhutan border of of Kokrajhar district. Through a long term investigation the Unit received the milestone arresting 28 Forest Mafias recovering wood worth 31,68,742 bucks. The investigation was conducted under aegis of Chandrakanth Upadhyai and the miscreants together with the wood was recovered in the Kuchgaon forest area. The investigation also led to one linkman of NDFB.
