ASSAM TEEN APPREHENDED FOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

Guwahati, December 13, 2018:

An eighteen year old boy was apprehended after train checking staff of Guwahati GPRS found twelve kilograms of marijuana in his possession.

Roke Mandal of Murshidabad, West Bengal, was found in possession of the illegal substance at Platform no. 4 of Guwahati Railway Station.

He had boarded the 15960 Down Kamrup Express Train at Dimapur and was headed to Murshidabad to deliver the package. A case has been registered under N.D.P.S Act and further investigations are underway.
