The question papers of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) were reportedly leaked and got circulated in social media giant Facebook's messaging application "WhatsApp" minutes after the examination began.
TET examination was conducted on Sunday all across Assam.

Despite security measures and precautions, the question papers were leaked.
It was also alleged that days ahead of the question papers were even sold to TET aspirants at a certain amount by some people.
A total of 1,66,079 candidates appeared in the examination out 2,30,482 candidates who applied for Lower Primary TET exams.
It may be mentioned here that this is not the first time that such misconduct have been reported. Prior to this, Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) stood as a biggest example in the state for paper leak.
This kind of misconduct in the examinations has created an insecurity among the youth who are seeking jobs in the state.
