Assam: Three NDFB (S) rebels apprehended in Jagun

20 July 2018:

Acting on specific inputs, a joint team of the Army and the Assam Rifles apprehended three NDFB (S) militants during an operation at Jagun in Tinsukia district on Thursday.

The arrested rebels were later identified as Ajay Narzary alias BHM N, Swmkwr Narzary alias N Swrjilang and Jwngpru Brahma alias BHM B. They were trained in Myanmar.

The security forces seized one AK-47 rifle, one 7.65 mm pistol (FM), and one .22 pistol (FM) along with nine live cartridges of AK 47, five live bullets of 7.65 MM pistol and six rounds of .22 pistol.
