Subhas Sen State Secretary of All India Central Council for Trade Union(AICCTU) and Devarshi Mohan Neog Divisional Secretary of Northern Frontier Railway Employees Union(NFREU) Tinsukia Division, Assam on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through DRM NF Railway Tinsukia Division regarding abrogation of the decision of privatization of Indian Railways.

Subhas Sen said that Railway being the second basic lifeline of the Indian Economy but the attempt to divert it from its own discourse can destabilize the common interest of the general people and shal affect the economy as a whole. During the last few years all profit making public sector companies have been sold and the private operators which have been looting off National Property are widely established whereas all section of people especially common and marginal section is dependent on Railways not only for transport but for various other reasons also added Sen.

Again most shocking decision to allow private operators for 152 trains in 109 routes is very unfortunate for the citizens of our country which as a result of hike in passenger and goods fare and there is future possibility that Indian Railway shall be known as "Adani Railway", "Ambani Railway" and "Tata Railway " said Subhas Sen. The long traditional of people's Rail will be turned into corporate rail thus the much proclaimed self reliant India will be nothing but an India owned by the Reliance Brothers and Company where Millions of homeless will be no longer find a safe place thereafter to pass their whole life on the Station platforms as they will be chased out of stations by Policeman while life of Railway Vendors Will be more miserable and will be hit hard to earn their livelihood which will be a direct blow to the lives of many  more Crores of their kith and Kin said Subhas Sen.

We demand Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make it stand clear on what basis country's Most Profitable Industry Indian railway decision to allow private operators for 152 prime trains in 109 routes otherwise  in the coming days more and more strong agitational programme shall held at our country which Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government have to face the wrath of the people of our country said Subhas Sen State Secretary of AICCTU and Devarshi Mohan Neog Divisional Secretary of NFREU Tinsukia Division, Assam.
