Assam: Train runs over elderly man in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: An elderly person has been killed after being run over by a passenger train near Tinsukia railway station this afternoon.

The accident took place in front of the Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, Laipuli in Tinsukia.

The deceased person has been identified as Horen Bora (60), a resident of Kaptanchuk village in Laipuli area.

This accident happened due to the collision of the Awadh Assam Express train.
