Dima Hasao, August 11, 2019:

Two over-ground workers of Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) were apprehended by the Police and Assam Rifles on Friday night in a joint operation in Dima Hasao district of Assam.

The Police sources stated that based on specific information about the presence of two over-ground workers who were facilitating recruitment into the DNLA, an operation was launched along with Assam Rifles in Hajadisa general area.

During the operation, the duo were apprehended, who have been identified as Monson Langthasa and Ditesh Daolagupo alias Atesh alias Daokha.

In another operation in Gunjung general area, a DNLA over-ground worker was apprehended. As per the inputs, he was an arms supplier and has been identified as Ramoth Kemprai (22).

All the accused were in contact with DNLA cadre John Jidung Dimasa alias Master Dimasa as per official reports.

Later, the Superintendent of Police, Sreejit T said that almost all the over-ground workers of the DNLA outfit have been nabbed.
