In a tragic incident, two students of Assam Medical College Hospital(AMCH) were killed in a road accident in Dibrugarh district of Assam. The incident took place early on Tuesday morning when the students were going towards Dibrugarh University on their motorcycle. The motorcycle had a head-on collision with a speeding Bolero vehicle near the Dibrugarh University. Both the students died on the spot while the three occupants of the Bolero were admitted to the AMCH in a critical condition. The students have been identified as Bhargav Borsaikia of MBBS 4th year and James Kamgouhao Sitlhou of 3rd year. While Bhargav hails from Moran in Dibrugarh district and James hails from Haflong in Dima Hasao district.

A pall of gloom descended in the AMCH campus after the news of the incident reached the college. Classes were suspended for today and a condolence meet was held in the AMCH auditorium.
