Indian Army has apprehended a cadre of United Liberation Front of Assam or ULFA(I) in Assam's Tinsukia district.
The troops of Indian Army had launched an operation based on specific input in a Tinsukia village called Kachijan and apprehended the ULFA(I) cadre.
They also seized one Point 32 Pistol, one country made rifle and assorted ammunition. The apprehended cadre has been handed over to the police for further investigation.

It may be mentioned here that ULFA(I) cadres have been arrested from different places in Upper Assam on the basis of secret sources.
