The United People's Party Liberal, Assam has demanded CBI investigation into the alleged over 1000 crore's rampant corruption and anomalies in the BPF ruled BTAD administration in the last 17 years of reign in the region and punished the involved persons into corruptions.
Talking the reporters at a Press Conference here today at UPPL party office, Secretary and spokesperson of the UPPL party, Wilson Hasda accused of that BPF had indulged over 1000 crores corruption and anomalies in different departments in the BTC administration in their 17 years of rule in the council. He also alleged that over 515 crores of scams was held on the job card under MGNREGA schemes under the financial 2017-18,2018-19 and 2019-20 fiscal year.
He has demanded CBI investigation into alleged 515 crores corruption in job card issue under MGNREGA and held the good governance in the council region.

UPPL party has come down heavily on BPF leader and Goibari candidate Chandi Basumatary who had put allegation of corruption on UPPL president Pramod Boro.
‘UPPL party has challenged to legal action against the Basumatary if fail to probe over allegations of corruptions perpetrating of Pramod’, UPPL leader said. UPPL has accused of BPF is fearing of massive defeat in the BTC election, so BPF leaders are indulging unnecessary statements against the UPPL leader.
Hasda also demanded dissolution of Municipal Boards and Town Committees formed by BPF party during their regime, said all the municipal board and town committees are manned by BPF leaders who
were nominated during their regime, as the tenure of the government itself has expired and tenure of all these urban bodies should also expire, else it will provide an undue advantage to the corrupted party denting the free and fairness of the forthcoming election.
UPPL leader urged Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi to take bold steps against the corruption and anomalies perpetrated in the council administration during the BPF ruled regime.
