GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam has directed all the state government employees, who have administered both the doses of COVID-19 vaccination, to attend offices from June 14.
The decision has been taken in course of ensuring the smooth functioning of Government offices, said M.S. Manianna in the statement.
"In order to ensure smooth functioning of Government offices, all the employees of Government of Assam who have received both doses of COVID-19 vaccine are hereby directed to attend office from 14/06/2021 regularly, following all Covid related protocols issued by the Government," read the statement.

As per government reports released by the state health minister Keshab Mahanta revealed that a total number of 47,57,898 doses of vaccines were administered in the state as of now.
As many as 38,40,614 people received the first doses of the vaccine and 9,17,284 are fully vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, 84,031 people were administered the vaccines irrespective of doses.
A total number of 5,23,950n vaccines are available with the government in stock and out of which 3,56,530 doses are for citizens above 45 years and above.
