Assam vanquish Andhra Pradesh in SSPF cricket tournament

Guwahati, February 5, 2019:

A School Sports Promotion Foundation (SSPF) U-16 cricket tournament is being held at Teevra in Noida today.

A match was played between the teams of Assam and Andhra Pradesh today. After winning the toss, Assam chose to field first and the team from Andhra Pradesh scored a total of 118 runs in for the fall of all ten wickets. Assam overhauled the target with six wickets in hand. M. Rajkumar, who scored 53, was the highest contributor in Assam's run chase.

The Man-of-the-match trophy was awarded to Ravishek Tiwari of Assam for picking up three invaluable wickets.
