ASSAM: VILLAGE HEAD MAN SHOT DEAD IN DIPHU

In a sensational case, a village head man was allegedly shot dead in Diphu. The incident took place in Tamulbari and the deceased has been identified as Ghunun Naidung. A pall of gloom descends in the entire area following the incident. Speaking to INSIDENE, Officer In charge of Diphu police station Dipen Das said that  the case is under investigation. No arrest has been made so far.
