Assam: Vreegu Kashyap & Priyam Pallabee tie the knot in grand ceremony

GUWAHATI: Singer Vreegu Kashyap and actress Priyam Pallabee yesterday got married in a lavish ceremony that was attended by close friends and family, including many from the Assamese entertainment industry.

 

After their marriage, the duo has been sharing a number of posts on Twitter and Instagram showing snippets from their grand Assamese wedding.

 

Congratulatory messages have now started pouring in for the 'it' couple who have been working together for quite some time now.

 

Most recently, the duo worked together in 'Manuhjoni Main', a song sung by Vreegu where Pallabee starred as the lead heroine.

 

Both Kashyap and Pallabee have been sharing posts on their Instagram profiles — where they have legions of fans — to tease fans about the impending grand wedding.

Who's who of the Assamese entertainment industry -- including Barasha Rani Bishaya and Sukanya Boruah -- have been congratulating the couple on social media. Many stars were present in person to extend their best wishes to the newlyweds.

 

The duo will get married today. A grand wedding reception has been scheduled for March 6.

 

On February 21, Pallabee shared a picture on the platform along with the words, “A lot of love for you. Few days to go”, in which she tagged her fiance.

 

With the wedding season officially underway in Assam, many of the state's prominent entertainers are tying the nuptial knot.

 

Recently, Assamese singer Neel Akash tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend Nancy Phukan, who is an advocate by profession, at Margherita, Tinsukia, Assam.

 

This couple too will host a grand wedding reception on March 3 in Tinsukia.
