BONGAIGAON: Assam woman accused four men of raping her on multiple occasions for two years in Bongaigaon district. She also alleged that the police failed to take action against the accused after she filed a complaint.
The woman also said the accused circulated her "objectionable photos on social media platforms", blackmailed her, "insulted" her by painting her face black and even threatened to kill her family.
According to IndiaToday reports, the 23-year-old victim is a resident of Boudi Bazar Bhawlaguri area in the Bongaigaon district. She was allegedly gang-raped by four people in her locality for the past two years.

The victim had lodged a complaint against four people at Bongaigaon Sadar police station on September 29. Police had registered a case under section 354(A) (Assault), 376 (sexual assault) and 342 (wrongfully confines any person).
In her complaint, the victim mentioned that the four persons have been sexually harassing her for the last two years in an interval of 10-15 days. They also blackmailed her by using her naked photograph.
Meanwhile, Bongaigaon district Superintendent of Police (SP) Swapnanil Deka informed that one accused person was arrested.
