ASSAM: WOMAN ASSAULTED BY FOUR PERSON ON SUSPICION OF PRACTICING WITCHCRAFT

In a shocking incident, a woman was assaulted by a group of four person in Baksa district of Assam on suspicion of practicing witchcraft. The incident took place in Baksa's Dumuni Tea Estate where the group physically assaulted her and attempted to even kill her as they suspected her to be a witch.

She was however rescued by the police following which they apprehended all the accused.
