RANGIA: A woman named Shubarna Ghosh in Assam's Dhubri district gave birth to four babies at a private hospital in a private hospital in Rangia yesterday.
Ghosh gave birth to these four babies around 12.40 pm amid a strong earthquake measuring 6.7 magnitude, followed by a series of earthquakes that jolted Assam and neigbouring states throughout the day.

This pregnant woman had been receiving treatment for a long time under the care of Hitendra Kalita, a senior doctor at the hospital.
All four babies -- two girls, two boys, and the mother are healthy and are currently under observation at the hospital.
The father of the babies said, " I am shocked indeed, but at the same time I am happy that God blessed me with four babies."
