ASSAM: WOMAN RECOVERED IN DIRE CONDITION IN SAPEKHATI

In yet another shocking incident a woman was recovered unconscious with hands and legs tied with a gamusa alongside the roadway of her parent’s house on Saturday morning. The recovery state of the woman sparks huge sensations among the locals.

While the following is reported at Sapekhati PS, under Charaideo District. Following the incident the woman’s family members filed an FIR with Sapekhati PS against her husband alleging his involvement in the entire incident. As reports the victim is identified as Simpi Gogoi following her husband as Haren Phukan.

While sources informed the lady has been a victim of domestic violence.

It may be noted that the lady has been shifted to Dibrugarh for further treatment and police have taken the accused husband and his elder brother Kiran Phukan into custody.
