            <div class="clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item"><p></p><h4><strong>Guwahati, February 8, 2020:</strong></h4><p>At least a thousand members of the Assam Youth Congress staged “Jail Bharo” protest event on Saturday demanding the release of its leader Kamrul Islam Choudhury.</p><p>https://www.facebook.com/ne.inside/videos/183718652865012/</p><p>With Police personnel detaining a few of the protesters, Youth Congress’ Jail Bharo programme witnessed a massive agitation of the members against the authorities for arresting Kamrul.</p><p><strong>ALSO READ: <a href="https://insidene.com/2020/02/08/massive-anti-caa-torchlight-rally-in-parts-of-assam/" target="_blank">Massive Anti-CAA Torchlight Rally in Parts of Assam</a></strong></p><p>It may be mentioned here that Kamrul was arrested on January 23 and was sent to two-day CID custody on January 26. He was charged with public property damage during the violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act or CAA in Guwahati in December, 2019.
