ASSAM: SUSPECTED GRENADE BLAST IN NALBARI POLICE STATION, INJURING ONE POLICE OFFICER

A sudden explosion quivers the region

A  blast in the Nalbari Police Station created tension in the region today, injuring one Police Officer. According to sources, the injured officer is Babul Saikia.Though the nature of the blast has not been ascertained, it is suspected to be some grenade dumped in a pile of trash in the premises of the Police Station.

However talking to Insidene, SP of Nalbari district, Shiladitya Chetia confirmed that the explosion occured due to the blast of a bottle immersing in the dump.
