Assamese hitmaker Subasana Dutta, known for chartbusters like 'Dorika' and 'Loriyoli Mon' has been critically injured in a road mishap at Rangia located in Kamrup (R) district of Assam. The singer was returning from a Bihu performance at Bongaigaon in Assam. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning.
As per reports, Dutta was returning from the performance with her manager, Sekhar Jyoti Baishya, when her Renault Duster car skidded off the road and met with an accident. It is still unclear why the vehicle skidded off the road, but it is being suspected that it could be because of the rain that has been peppering many regions of the NorthEast in the past few days.
Locals rushed to the spot and immediately called the ambulance and the injured crooner has been shifted to Excelcare Hospitals in Guwahati. Further details are awaited.
