Assam's Dr. Faizuddin Ahmed listed in Stanford's 2% World Ranking Scientist

DHUBRI: Dr. Faizuddin Ahmed, a resident of  Balajan village in Dhubri district of Assam has been listed as top physicists in Stanford amongst top 2% World Ranking Scientist for 2nd consecutive year on 2021.

Dr. Faizuddin has so far published a total of 74 high quality research papers in international journals.

He has been ranked 169,268 in the list of two percent of the world's physicists.

Dr. Faizuddin was first listed in the list of the Stanford's 2% World Ranking Scientist for the first time in 2020.

He graduated in physics from Bholanath College, Dhubri in 2006 and completed his master's degree from Guwahati Cotton College in 2009.

He completed his PhD from Gauhati University.

Dr. Faizuddin Ahmed, is a proffessor of private colleges in Dhubri.

He also works part time in Howly, Barpeta and does his reserch work in spare times.

Congress MLA Rakibul Hussain visited Ahmed today to felicitate  him for his achievement and calls on the government to take necessary steps for talented physicists and provide him permanent employment so that he can get more opportunities to carry forward his research.

Husain said, " Faizuddin is a pride for the entire state and he has to be encouraged and promoted. The state can will only when education system develops".
