Assam: Manohari Gold Tea auctioned for record Rs. 99,999 per kg

DIBRUGARH: A famous and rare variety of tea from Assam, "Manohari Gold Tea", has once again created history.

It has broken its own record after the Manohari Gold Tenoa sold for Rs.99,999.00 per kilogram, in Sale No.50 held on 14th December, 2021 at Guwahati Tea Auction Centre.

The Manohari Gold Tea was bought by Saurav Tea Traders with the highest bid of Rs.99,999.00 per kilogram.

Manohari Gold Tea is manufactured from the finest second flush colonel tea buds, which are hand-plucked only at dawn.
