Paul came into the spotlight as one of the oldest voters during the election and her enthusiasm for exercise her right shows that neither old age nor infirmity can hinder one from exercising one's right when the mind is made.

Paul lives with her family in a small house near Moranahat railway station under Ward no. 4 at Moran in Assam.

Paul, who avails old age pension, has three children – two sons and a daughter.

Moran falls under the Jorhat Lok Sabha Constituency which will see a two-way contest between Congress heavyweight Paban Singh Ghatowar and BJP's Rameswar Teli.
