Guwahati, January 1, 2020:

General Secretary of Gauhati University’s Post Graduate Students’ Union (PGSU) Moon Talukdar on January 1 slammed Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) chief Atul Bora as the biggest 'comedian' of the state.

Staging a protest at Cotton University, Moon Talukdar said, “Atul Bora id the biggest ‘comedian’ of the state as he has no clear stand regarding the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.”

Hitting out at Atul Bora, Moon Talukdar alleged that the AGP is playing for both teams. "On one side the AGP claims to have moved to the Supreme Court regarding the contentious Bill turned Act. On the other hand, the same AGP is seen walking in the peace rally organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to support the Citizenship Act and the same AGP is voting for the CAA in Rajya Sabha", Talukdar said.

The Gauhati University students’ union general secretary also mentioned that the protest against the CAA is not just for six days, it may last for six years and even longer.

Also, he urged the people to boycott AGP minister Atul Bora from the 'Shankar Adhibeshan', to be held soon.
