Assam cabinet minister Atul Bora tests positive for COVID-19

GUWAHATI: Assam Agriculture and Veterinary Minister Atul Bora have tested positive for COVID-19 today.

Minister Bora had mild symptoms of COVID-19.

He urged everyone who had come into contact with him to get themselves tested as soon as possible.

"I have tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. I request all those who have come in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest." the minister informed on Twitter.

Earlier this week, Minister Atul Bora who is also the president of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) along with minister Ashok Singhal visited Mizoram's capital Aizawl to met Mizoram government representatives to discuss resolving the ongoing border dispute.
