Awareness Drive by Students to Promote Celebration of “Green Diwali” in Guwahati

Guwahati, November 5, 2018:

The Eco Club of Arya Vidyapeeth College on Monday organized an awareness drive on the importance of celebrating eco friendly Diwali among the residence of neighbouring areas of the College.

The drive was initiated from the college gate in presence of the Principal of the College Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya and Vice Principal Mrinal Sarmah along with number of other faculty members of the College with special initiative by the Arya Vidyapeeth Student’s Union.

More than seventy student volunteers took part in the process. Street plays were enacted in eight points in the neighbouring area and more than 500 families were reached by this drive
