Ayushman Bharat launched in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar (Assam), September 23, 2018:

Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Aragya Yojana (AB- PMJAY) has been launched on Sunday in Chandamari at Kokrajhar.

As per norms and guidelines of the scheme, the people suffering from secondary and tertiary diseases like cancer, burn, cardio, urology, neurological problems etc. would be able to get treatment at all government and empanelled hospitals for up to Rs 5 lakhs.

This scheme will offer health coverage more than 80 thousand families in Kokrajhar district based on the Socio-economic and caste Census (SECC), 2011 data.
