BIRYANI HOUSE WITH THE SENTIMENTS OF ASSAM

Good food brings good mood.

Nothing brings people together like good food, and it adds a bonus when it comes with a strong message. Regarding the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, everyone in Assam is protesting the bill and adding to that a strong initiative is taken by the proprietor and a poet Maryleen Dutta of MD Biryani House where he made stickers opposing the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, and pasted in the Biryani packets. His motive is to make the people of Assam aware and firmly stand against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016.

INSIDENE speaking to Maryleen Dutta said that he gives service to the people over 150 to 300 packets of Biryani daily and also he has a shop nearby Assam Engineering College where 70 to 80 packets were sold daily. His main aim of distributing the sticker is to make the people of Assam stand for the motto Jati-Meti-Bheti. He also said the bil will aggravate the problem of illegal migration and also Assam cannot accommodate any more immigrants.
