A meeting is being held by political leaders of Northeast India at Vivanta by Taj hotel in Guwahati. The meeting is to be held from 10 am to 11:30 am, at the end of which the leaders will address the press.
Many political bigwigs have landed in Guwahati which is being hosted by Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma in collaboration with Assam’s largest regional party, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP).

All senior leaders of the AGP such as Atul Bora, Prafulla Mahanta, Keshav Mahanta, Phani Bhusan Choudhry are present at the meet.

Some of the political figures who will attend the meet are:
Chingwang Konyak, President of National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Nagaland.
TR Zeliang, former Chief Minister, Nagaland.
Zoramthanga, Chief Minister, Mizoram.
Thangminlien Kipgen, NPP President, Manipur.
NC Debbarma, President ITFP, Tripura.
Many of the leaders present at the meet belong to the Northeast Democratic Alliance (NEDA), the BJP coalition of political parties in the Northeast.
