BJP, BPF most corrupt: Congress

The Congress in Assam has termed BJP and Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF) as the “most corrupt” political parties.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Congress spokesperson Durga Das Boro said the people of Assam would soon come to know that these two parties are the most corrupt.

He said Lok Sabha member Naba Kumar Saraniya and the BPF would be no factor for the Congress in next year’s Parliamentary elections.

“The Congress has a long experience with the BPF. However, it will not forge any alliance with the BPF in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” Boro asserted.

He said two candidates, nominated by the BPF, had already joined the Congress party and four-five others would soon follow suit.
